If you are a CIRA Member, hold a dot-ca domain name, or have an interest in the Internet, you should be aware that by participating in CIRA activities you can help shape the future of the .CA Internet domain.
How can I participate in CIRA activities?
There are several ways to participate in CIRA activities, such as: CIRA’s Annual General Meeting, consultations, and surveys. One of the most important ways is to take part in CIRA’s Board of Directors Elections.
How you can take part in CIRA Elections:
- Members may nominate themselves for election to the Board of Directors.
- Members may nominate an individual for election to the Board of Directors.
- Members may be nominated for election to the Board of Directors.
- If you are a CIRA Member you can show support for a Nominee.
- As a CIRA Member you are also able to vote for a Candidate to be elected to the Board of Directors.
How does participating in CIRA Elections help shape the .CA Internet domain?
By participating in the Elections you are either:
- helping to select CIRA's Board of Directors or
- possibly becoming a Director.
It is the Board of Directors who determines policy for CIRA. These policies help shape the .CA Internet
