Looking for other ways to be an active participant in CIRA’s governance without joining the board or nomination committee? Find out below.

Endorse a member nominee

Is there a nominee that stands out as more qualified to advance to the final election ballot? Endorse them!

For a member nominee to become a final candidate on the members’ slate of the election ballot, they must receive at least 20 shows of support from other members. Only CIRA members can endorse a member nominee during the show of support period.

To participate, each eligible member will receive an email with information on how to access the ballot.

Participate in the campaign forum

To help members make an informed decision when electing directors, we hold a campaign forum—an online platform that facilitates discussions between candidates and members and provides a channel for candidates to promote their candidacy.

Cast your vote to elect the directors

CIRA members decide who will lead CIRA by voting for the candidates best qualified for the job.

Members will have the opportunity to vote for three nomination committee candidates and one member candidate and have seven days to cast their vote.

To participate, each eligible member will receive an email with information on how to access the ballot.
