This project was launched as part of .CA&#8217;s partnership with CBC Sports to tell athletes stories in their own voices through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/playersvoice\">Player&#8217;s Own Voice<\/a> web portal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Key facts<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>When working to gain awareness, from media, sponsors and other stakeholders a strong website and online presence can give an athlete a leg-up in securing funding and attention.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cira.ca\/canadas-athletes-choose-ca-0\">.CA<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/whc.ca\/en\">Web Hosting Canada<\/a> have worked with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moniquesullivan.ca\/\">Monique Sullivan<\/a>, a track cyclist on the Canadian Olympic team, to create a website in advance of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
