CIRA members elect 2021 CIRA board members

Ottawa, ON – October 1, 2021 – The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) is pleased to announce the results of its 2021 board of directors election.

This year, CIRA members voted to elect five new directors. One of the Nomination Committee vacancies was for a Replacement Seat, filling out the remainder of a resigning board member’s term. Thus, all Directors elected will serve three-year terms except for the Replacement Seat, who was elected for a two-year term.

Participating in CIRA’s board of directors election is one way CIRA members and Canadians can contribute to the development of Canada’s internet. Thank you to all candidates and nominees who participated in this year’s election as well as the CIRA members who took time to vote.
