Kincentric ranking of top employers in Canada recognizes CIRA for fifth time in seven years
Ottawa – September 14, 2020 – The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has once again been named one of Canada’s top employers. This is the fifth time in seven years that the technology not-for-profit, best known for managing the .CA domain has landed a spot on the prestigious ‘Best Employers in Canada’ list from Kincentric.
The Kincentric Best Employers program recognizes outstanding performance in employee engagement, performance, leadership and culture across Canadian and global workplaces.
As the COVID-19 pandemic has forced a dramatic shift in how employees work and collaborate, CIRA has managed to not only maintain but strengthen its culture through a strategic focus on the wellbeing of its employees.
“It’s an honour to be recognized once again as one of the best employers in Canada. Culture at CIRA is much more than an HR initiative; it is something all employees own. Trust is core to how we work as a team at CIRA, and in our purpose to build a trusted internet for Canadians. As we’ve transitioned to working remotely during COVID-19, trust in our people and the internet is more important than ever.”
– Sanita Alias, director of human resources, Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA)
