Election runs online from September 25 – October 2

Ottawa, ON – September 25, 2019 – Members of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) community will begin casting their votes today for candidates in the Canadian Internet Registration Authority’s (CIRA) 2019 board of directors election. The vote period starts today at 12:30 p.m. ET and ends at 12:30 p.m. ET on October 2, 2019.

CIRA members play an important role in choosing the leadership that will guide CIRA through the next three years of its mandate.

CIRA members can learn more about each candidate before casting their votes by reading the candidates’ statements. 

Voting for election candidates

This year, CIRA members will have the opportunity to cast their votes to elect four candidates—three from the nomination committee slate and one from the members slate.

Voting will take place online at vote.cira.ca.

The election results will be published on our site or before October 4, 2019.
