Ottawa, ON – July 27, 2017 – The Canadian Internet Registration Authority ‘s (CIRA) nomination committee has selected five candidates from across Canada with a broad mix of experience and qualifications necessary for the management of the .CA domain. To view the list of nomination committee candidates, visit https://www.cira.ca/election-results .

CIRA Members who wish to apply for the Members’ slate of candidates can apply from 2 p.m. ET on July 27, 2017 to 2 p.m. ET on August 10, 2017 at https://www.cira.ca/election.

This will be followed by a show of support period starting August 24, 2017 and ending on September 7, 2017. The board of directors election vote runs from September 19, 2017 until September 26, 2017.

To be eligible to vote, .CA holders must be Members before the end of the day on August 29, 2017 (21 days before the start of the voting period), and remain an active Member at the time they cast their vote.
