Fully virtual and exclusively for CIRA members, the annual general meeting (AGM) is when we present our accomplishments from the past year, industry developments and statistics, future plans, audited financial statements and the auditor’s report to members.

CIRA members are critical to the success of the AGM as your participation directly contributes to CIRA’s operations and governance.

Thank you to all the CIRA members who participated in the last year’s meeting. Your attendance and engagement contributed to the success of the event and we appreciate your continued support.

About CIRA membership

CIRA is a member-based corporation that values the input of its members and their contributions to enabling a trusted internet. Having a .CA and being a CIRA member supports the great work we do for Canada’s internet.

Membership is free and only open to .CA holders. It remains active so long as your domain(s) remain registered—there’s no additional renewal process beyond renewing your .CA domain name!

As per the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act and CIRA’s By-law, to participate and vote in the annual general meeting (AGM), you must have been a CIRA member at least 21 days prior to the AGM (end of day September 4, 2024) and continue to be a member at the start of the AGM.

Not a CIRA member?

Apply online! If you’re a .CA holder, become a member to attend the AGM and vote in our board elections. We recommend you submit your membership application well ahead of the September 4 voter cut-off date to allow time for processing.
