THE PROJECT
TakingITGlobal’s Future Pathways program connects students in remote Indigenous communities with Indigenous role models through interactive educational sessions via high definition, two-way video technology. In this content bank expansion, a variety of new digital sessions were developed for the platform, bringing different career paths to life for students who otherwise face geographic barriers by connecting them with experts across different career fields.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
The program has grown to serve over 150 schools across Canada, including in Nunavut and many others across the territories and in Northern regions, bringing new perspectives to more students in isolated communities.
