THE PROJECT
Project Neutral, a project of MakeWay, is dedicated to helping Canadians calculate and understand their carbon emissions and take climate action in their communities. This project had a focus on youth in particular with the development of a web-based platform to teach students about their environmental impacts.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Resources such as lesson plans and worksheets were shared with parents and teachers to help them support students using the platform and make learning about carbon footprints and climate change easily accessible for young learners. The campaign was adopted by numerous classrooms and the platform has been used not just by schools but community groups, churches, and workplaces.
