THE PROJECT
CIRA funded the development of KidsGrief.ca, that helps parents and caregivers support their children when someone in their life is dying or has died. With a grant they created modules to help educators and those who work with youth to support children dealing with grief.
COMMUNITY MPACT
In consultation with experts in children’s grief and digital health, the new modules exceeded the anticipated content targets, with over 100 video clips included and the addition of a COVID-19 chapter to help children cope with losses during the pandemic.
