THE PROJECT

Iris Kirby House, a shelter for women and children who are experiencing domestic violence in Newfoundland, identified the need to create a server to network their two shelter locations. The network ensures consistent and high-quality services to women and children regardless of their location, reducing administrative time and providing clinicians who work in both locations access to their files.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

For the hundreds of women and children who access their housing and support services each year, this project increased their ability to network digitally and helped staff connect women and children in this rural community to services in urban areas, laying groundwork for future support.
