Canadian Center for Cybersecurity
The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS) leads the government’s response to cyber security events. They work to protect and defend the country’s valuable cyber assets. We work side-by-side with the private and public sectors to solve Canada’s most complex cyber issues.
The CCCS shares enhanced cyber threat information in order to help strengthen Canada's resiliency against cyber threats. This threat information includes Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) derived from many sources such as Canadian cyber incidents, malware analysis and strategic partnerships. All indicators are validated before being shared in order to maintain a high quality.
CIRA is also setting up infrastructure to enable partners, like the CCCS to receive threat data derived from our services for further analysis that improves Canadian cybersecurity. Importantly, no personally identifiable information (PII) of any kind is transmitted back to the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security.
