Canadians Connected, CIRA’s premier event series for internet aficionados is going east—to Charlottetown!

Join us IRL on Wednesday, June 4 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. AT at Salt & Sol. You’re invited for an evening of cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, networking, a pop-up shopping experience from local .CAs and more! We’ll also be joined by award-winning technology expert, Amber Mac, in conversation with Coltin Handrahan, Founder of Stay Golden Custom, to discuss what it means to be a Canadian entrepreneur.

This event will be in English only.

What: Canadians Connected: Charlottetown, an event bringing together internet stakeholders for networking and learning opportunities. Enjoy some complimentary drinks on us, along with nibbles, entertainment and more.

Who: you’ll get the opportunity to network with Canadian internet stakeholders, including CIRA’s leadership team, enjoy a pop-up marketplace from local .CA businesses (Atlantic Mustard Mill, Colourful Island, Goldfsh, Hoodle Haddles & Una Beauty) and hear from local entrepreneurial talent.

When: Wednesday, June 4 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. AT

Where: Salt & Sol, 2 Pownal St. on the second floor

Amber Mac | President, AmberMac Media, Inc.

Coltin Handrahan | Founder, Stay Golden Custom

Coltin Handrahan is an entrepreneur from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He is the founder of Stay Golden Custom, a custom clothing company that helps busy leaders easily design & source custom merch that their teams, customers and community will be proud to wear. Coltin founded Stay Golden Custom in his senior year of high school and has spent the past 13 years developing the company into an online focused manufacturer that works with clientele across Canada, fulfilling orders from their production facility in Hunter River. Coltin is based in Charlottetown and in Halifax, Nova Scotia where the company is building their presence across the Atlantic region.

Jeremy Heartz | Entrepreneurship Program Officer, UPEI

Jeremy Heartz is a dedicated supporter of entrepreneurship from Prince Edward Island. He currently serves as the Program Officer for the Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Prince Edward Island, a role he has held since the Centre’s opening in April 2024. In its first year, the Centre has distributed over $135,000 in funding to support student entrepreneurship across the province. Prior to this role, Jeremy worked with Innovation PEI as a Small Business Development Officer, where he spent two years delivering the Web Presence Assistance program, helping local businesses establish and grow their online presence through website development. Jeremy has maintained a laser-focus on empowering entrepreneurs throughout his career and continues to play an active role in fostering innovation and economic growth across PEI.
