Takara Small | Journalist, podcaster & radio host
Takara Small is Canadian journalist and radio host. She is a radio columnist for CBC (Canada’s public broadcaster), radio contributor for BBC Radio and host at 680 News. Additionally, she was named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada for her contributions to media and recently named a Young Leaders of America Fellow.
Jon Ferguson | Vice-president Cyber & DNS, CIRA
Jon Ferguson leads the Cybersecurity & DNS services unit at CIRA that builds upon the organization’s world class DNS services to provide cybersecurity services and training to Canadians and the global internet community. For the past 15 years, Jon has worked in product leadership roles for organizations building globally distributed Internet of Things and Cybersecurity solutions.
Deyves Fonseca | CISO, University of Toronto
Deyves Fonseca currently serves as the Acting Chief Information Security Officer at the University of Toronto, where he plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the institution’s digital landscape. He spearheads strategic initiatives to enhance cybersecurity across the university’s three campuses, serving over 124,000 students, faculty and staff.
David Shipley | CEO & Co-Founder of Beauceron Security Inc.
David Shipley is the CEO and Co-Founder of Beauceron Security Inc., a New Brunswick-based cybersecurity software firm with clients across North America. He is an award-winning entrepreneur and a recognized global expert in cybersecurity. David is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), a former journalist, and a Canadian Forces veteran and frequently writes and speaks about cybersecurity issues across North America.
