Ottawa, ON – October 31, 2024 – On Monday, November 4 in Ottawa, Ontario, CIRA President and CEO, Byron Holland, will testify as a witness at the Standing Senate Committee on National Security, Defence and Veterans Affairs on Bill C-26, An Act Respecting Cyber Security. Drawing on its experience and expertise as a cybersecurity services provider, CIRA has put forward two legislative amendments to strengthen Part II of Bill C-26 and foster Canadians and organizations’ trust in the bill.
