February 2, 2021 – The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has been selected as one of the National Capital Region’s Top Employers for the sixth year in a row. The award is given to employers in the Ottawa-Gatineau metropolitan area who offer exceptional places to work.
Today’s award adds to growing recognition of CIRA’s purpose-driven corporate culture and best-of-class recruitment strategy, which helps the organization attract top talent. As part of today’s announcement, CIRA was also selected as one of Canada's best employers for recent graduates.
“We are pleased to see that CIRA has once again been recognized as a top employer in the National Capital Region. Our goal at CIRA is to build a trusted internet for Canadians, and we’ve worked hard to weave that into everything we do. Over the past year, the pandemic has shown us all that corporate culture is a lot more than free ping-pong tables and catered lunches. Instead, it has underscored the importance of a strong foundation built on a commitment to people, transparency and trust. Culture at CIRA is so much more than an HR initiative – it is something all employees own, and I couldn’t be prouder of how the team has lived its values over the past year and built resilience despite challenging circumstances.”
- Sanita Alias, vice president, people, culture & brand, CIRA
